Last week, Mr. Go 9-dan was the head referee. Today, Mr. Michael Redmond 9-dan was the commentator using a Demonstration Board as well as the Head Referee.

Mr. Redmond said "When your skill improves, there is no other better game than Pair Go." If the game isn't played well, there is no other greater difficulty when you are teamed with another player. Mr. Redmond then said "Enjoy the game and be sure to listen to my commentary."

Ms. Osawa and Mr. Yuki have the Kisei title. They are both high level players and play in perfect harmony. They could be finalists. Their opponents, Ms. Inori and the 25th Honinbo Chikun are the strongest competitors based on past game results. "I pretty much agree with Ms. Han. Although, one thing that I cannot make light of is the Pair team of Ms. Aoki and Mr Otake. Whatever you may say, Mr. Otake is good at reading his opponents mind. He seems to beable to read both his opponents mind and that of his partner's mind.

Scenery in the hall

A lot of fans came to see this championship; this game is popular because the fans can have a closer look at the energetic competitions. The game became really interesting when the Honinbo Cho became red in the face while taking off his jacket.

Apparently, a complaint was heard form the other side of the competition area. The 25th Honinbo Chikun began scratching his head and holding a handkerchief in his mouth. This kind of behavior was similar at his title fight.
