Satoshi Yuki 9dan said,` Yes, I know very well of Konishi san’s style that is to play in the difficult situation on purpose and make the opponent careless.’ (laugh in the hall) |

| Keigo Yamashita Tengen said, ` Actually, when the pairing was decided, I thought it was not good, because I was supposed to play Oza tournament against Izumi’s husband, U Cho, today. And I thought we would be awkward. But the Oza tournament finished a few days ago so I got on well with her.’ |

Tsukuda 4dan said, ` If you win more games, there will be a possibility to play against your wife’s pair. In that case, what would you do?’
U Cho Meijin Oza said, `We will win! (without hesitation)’ (laugh in the hall)
Tsukuda 4dan said, `Izumi san, Mr. U Cho said so.’
Izumi Kobayashi 6dan said, `I’m not thinking of losing.’ (applause in the hall) |
Kana Mannami 3dan said, `I felt Satoru sensei’s kindness a lot. He seemed to have a pink aura and helped me.’
Satoru Kobayashi 9dan said, `When it comes to difficult situations, she will cope with it, so I cut the opponent’s stones. (laughter in the hall) I am thinking of keeping the schedule for the final, next year.’ (Of course, declaration of wining) |

Yukari Umezawa 5dan said, `At the 1st game, I was too nervous that I lost at around the 100th move but Cho sensei’s fun talk calmed me down and I was relaxed during the 2nd game. I felt that Cho sensei was trying hard to win and that encouraged me.’
Chikun Cho 9dan said, `I’d like to correct one thing that Umezawa san said. She said we lost at around the 100th move but actually, we lost at around the 30th move.’ ( laughter in the hall) |
