O jogo de Go é uma arte do intelecto que une pessoas para além das fronteiras nacionais e culturais, e o Pair Go, em particular, representa uma forma sublime de comunicação – uma troca silenciosa de pensamentos e emoções através das pedras de Go.

　É para Portugal um motivo de imenso orgulho que o nosso compatriota Vasco Pimenta forme par com a italiana Sofia Malatesta, representando a Europa na 2.^a edição do Torneio Mundial Oficial de Pair Go com Handicap. A proibição de comunicação durante a partida, mesmo entre parceiros, impõe um desafio único de confiança mútua e verdadeira cooperação. Trata-se de uma batalha mental – uma expressão refinada do espírito desportivo.

Among its many forms, Pair Go is perhaps the ultimate expression of silent communication, where players connect through the quiet dialogue of stones.

　Portugal takes immense pride in the participation of our national, Vasco Pimenta, who will team up with Sofia Malatesta of Italy to represent Europe in the 2nd World Pair Go Official Handicap Tournament. Despite being partners, the ban on communication during the game presents a unique test of trust and teamwork.
