Congratulations to all of the participants and the organizers of the Pair Go World Festival 2025 at the 2025 World Expo Osaka! This tournament is a great example of sportsmanship and collegiality that contributes to building relations between people around the world. To the participants, the strategic thinking that you develop and use to compete in Go will serve you well and contribute to developing innovations and advancements that benefit our countries in the future.

　I’m particularly pleased that the United States is represented in this year’s competition as it is an invaluable opportunity to promote mutual understanding and strengthen people-to-people relationships.
